Gale fencing
We were pleased to see a large turnout to do some fence repairs.
We fixed the fence around the cavaletto...
...and repaired a particularly bad bit of ringlock on Cooma road...

Of course we had our typically beautiful Queanbeyan weather, the dog took the kids for a short bushwalk, and what better way to finished it off but with a nice cup of tea.

African Lovegrass

Just on the outskirts of Queanbeyan a thriving crop of African Lovegrass full of seed. The ACT attempts to control this by mowing it before seed set but unfortunately they missed this bit, lots more where this came from.

Working bee to strengthen the Gale Precinct Grassy-Box Woodland fencing, to help reduce trailbike erosion, on Sun 17th Feb 9:00am meet at the 'bend' on Wickerslack Lane.
Proposed Field Day at Scottsdale, part of the Bush Heritage Fund Estate.
Join us at the National Cleanup Day on Sunday 2nd March at the Queanbeyan Landcare site at the Morisset Low Level Crossing, BBQ in nearby park afterwards.
