Queanbeyan residents can take advantage of a similar scheme to ACT’s Weed Swap in conjunction with Queanbeyan City Council, the Australian Native Plant Society and Queanbeyan Landcare.

• Native Grassland Species Identification – David Eddy, Monaro Grassland Conservation Management Network
• Demonstration of Native Pasture Sowing Techniques
1. Broadcast Method – using the Bredbo Community Landcare Group ute-mounted Blower Seeder to broadcast a mix of native grass seed material.
2. Direct Drill – utilising the ROCK HOPPA All Terrain Direct Seeder to sow pelletised wallaby grass seed on rough country. Sows in tussock – lovegrass – rocky ground
* Turn onto Jerangle Road at Bredbo, property is approx 6km from Bredbo and will have banners on roadside. Follow arrows to demonstration site.

wildflower walk, again led by local wildflower expert, Ros Cornish.
